We're two weeks away from the first MOPS meeting of the semester! Registration is still open, and all mothers of preschool-aged children (from newborns on up) are welcome to join us. Please email DarienMOPS@gmail.com for a registration form, and we look forward to seeing you on September 9.
Where: St. Paul's Church, 471 Mansfield Avenue in Darien
When: alternate Wednesdays from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m.
Specific dates: September 9, 23; October 7, 21; November 4, 18; December 2, 16
Open House: If you'd like to meet caregivers and tour the facilities, stop by St. Paul's between 9:30 and 11:00 on Wednesday, September 2.

What is MOPS?
MOPS International is about celebrating motherhood, meeting needs, making connections, and experiencing God’s love through relationships and resources.
MOPS offers not only childcare for little ones, but “mom-care” for Moms. Once her children are settled, the MOPS mom joins a program tailor-made to meet her needs. She can eat a lovely breakfast (and not have to share it!), and she can engage in adult conversation!
A MOPS morning includes a speaker who will inspire moms in topics relating to womanhood, marriage, child rearing and relationships from a Biblical perspective. Discussion follows in small groups where each mom is free to share her joys and struggles with other moms who truly understand. Finally, a craft time promotes a sense of accomplishment through creative expression.
Meanwhile, the MOPPETS program provides loving, quality childcare for infants through age six. Moms can relax as their little ones are having fun in age-appropriate classrooms of their own. A MOPPETS morning is filled with stories, songs, snack, playtime and lots of love!
MOPS helps mothers recognize that when they take time to meet their needs, they are more effective in meeting the needs of their families.
